Road Trippin'

What a way to start this week.

Tonight, I'll be at the Nassau Coliseum for the Penguins-Islanders match-up and hopefully Sidney Crosby's return. A sure trap game for the Pens with what looms on Tuesday night.

Speaking of Tuesday, I'll be taking the Long Island Rail Road to the New Jersey PATH train to Newark for the big Penguins-Devils rematch. We all saw what happened on Saturday night. It won't be a rout, that's for sure, but hopefully the Pens can grind out another big two points over their division and conference rivals.

I'll have some pics up Wednesday morning of the trip.

UPDATE: No Sid tonight. He ruled himself out after the morning skate today. Looks like he's day-to-day.

Ballhype: hype it up!

1) Yes it was a road game against a division rival, but the Isles lineup was filled with guys who'd have trouble making Wilkes-Barre, maybe even Wheeling!
2) Going in, we expected a 7-1 or perhaps more drubbing. Perhaps the Pens felt likewise and over looked a team that had nothing to play for, and only 2 NHL caliber defensemen in their lineup, their back up goalie playing, and their leading scorer(Comrie) sitting with the flu?
3) We bet the Isles get whats coming to them Thursday in a rematch. Also have to be a tad worried about Sid's slow recovery. Hopefully they are just being overly cautious with the playoffs 2 weeks away?
