NHL Network US to Carry Memorial Cup

Next month, the NHL Network in the US will carry the prestigious Memorial Cup, a tournament featuring the champions of the three Canadian Hockey League member leagues as well as the host CHL team.

The winners of the Western Hockey League, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and Ontario Hockey League (Belleville Bulls) will battle for the biggest honor in junior hockey. It is a round-robin tournament that will culminate with the champion being decided on May 27th.

Yet another great move by the NHL Network. Many hockey fans in the US have not seen a lick of junior hockey other than on YouTube. Showing the Memorial Cup is a great addition to the programming lineup. I can't wait for the games to begin and see a lot of guys that will be drafted come June in the Entry Draft.

UPDATE: Here is the Memorial Cup schedule with dates and times for those with the NHL Network in the US.

Ballhype: hype it up!
