Monday Afternoon Reading Material

Joe Pelletier of Greatest Hockey Legends takes a look at bloodlines in the upcoming NHL Draft and predicts that the famous Russian "KLM" line should get into the Hockey Hall of Fame, which votes in its 2008 class tomorrow.

My buddy Greg Wyshynski over at Yahoo!'s Puck Daddy who has photos from the premiere of "The Love Guru" and details on his trip the 2K Sports' headquarters for the lo-down on NHL 2k8 featuring Rick Nash.

Mondesi's House has a photo of Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell paying up on a bet with the city of Detroit. Something tells me he had no issues donning a Red Wings jersey just to stick it a little more to the Penguins.

My NHL Draft guru Scotty Wazz says farewell to Dominik Hasek. Speaking of Scotty, he and the rest of the Faceoff Hockey Show crew will be up in Ottawa this weekend. Be sure to check back here throughout the weekend for some live updates.

Alexei Yashin back to the Islanders? In the words of a 13 year old girl, "OMG! LOL!". Really, Islanders? Really? Eric McErlain over at Fanhouse has the details. Really?

Chris over at Taking One for the Team is doing a great job with a division-by-division breakdown of the upcoming free agency period. Today he tackles the Central.

I hope you're just as glad as I am to see that On Frozen Blog is back up and running. Even if they are Caps fans.

Ha! Thanks Sean. It was a frustrating weekend to say the least. We're in the process of ditching that old host and move to what should be greener pastures and stable franchises.

Thanks for the kind words... even from a non-Caps fan. ;-)
