Yes, Emerson catches Ed Belfour's clearance with a closed glove (a penalty) and proceeds to take a few strides and throw the puck at the net, which apparently didn't even cross the line and it's called a goal...even after a video review. Game over. Jets win 1-0.
I thoroughly enjoyed Daryl Sutter's cross-ice sprint towards referee Denis Morel and the ensuing huddle around Morel from the entire Blackhawks team.
How video review could have upheld that call is beyond me.

Can we get a count on how many Sutters or Sutt-i there are on the Hawks in that moment?? There's Darryl, Rich (or Ron), and Brent-- at least.
Well, if they only had the angles that sports channel showed, no wonder they did not over turn the on ice ruling, play stands.
Typical crying by the Sutter family, great players, but cry cry and more cry is one of the family traits
I was at that game. Big win over the Hawks. We didn't care if it was thrown in or not.
Blackhawks have got to be the team most dicked over by instant replay. Wild got us twice with non-goals that didn't get overturned when they clearly should have.
wow that is a travesty...there are no words..
I bet a million bucks Koharski was the ref.
He always had it in for us.
@xcheck: how do you figure when the video clearly shows the ref was Denis Morel?
Wow, that is officially the worst call I have ever seen. The goal judge never lit the lamp either so I doubt it crossed the line.
Haha and I thought I'd seen some terrible calls before...
